- Protects wounds from distraction forces
- High standard of wound concealment – less scaring
- Hydrocolloid, hypo allergenic adhesive fixation
- Can be loosened at point of application
- Stretches with incision during flexing
- High tissue perfusion at wound site after closure
- 7 – 14 days healing recommended. Removed simply by peeling from skin
- Saves valuable theatre time
- Non-invasive design, no need to puncture skin and avoids secondary damage
- Considerably faster closing compared against sutures and staples
- Replaces staples, suture glue and other branded closure systems
AthroSkinFix features a patented screw twist closing method (regulating levers) which are precise and provide a proper force to counteract skin tension during healing. The closure forces are distributed in an equal amount, on either side of the wound, leaving a neutral zone along the wound.
AthroSkinFix eliminates patient home care visits or return to outpatients for removal.
AthroSkinFix creates a scaffold over the wound, protecting it from the forces of flexion and extension.

- Always clean the skin surface around the wound before positioning the suture device
- Do not let the adhesive tapes touch or stick to the edges of the incision
- Once suture is applied do not try to reposition it. Replace suture device if adhesion is poor
